Experience as a web site developer.

My experience as a web site developer revolve around two things: Information and eCommerce. I have been working in retail since 1993 and developing eCommerce since 1997. Since 2001, I have been developing eCommerce sites with the very popular Miva Merchant software, and for the past few years, as I have been developing “Informational” or non-eCommerce sites, I have been use WordPress. I started out programming my own CMS (Content Management Systems) programs to manage websites, but as WordPress has evolved, I believe it is the most powerful and user-friendly application available.

I recommend these tools because they give YOU the power to control your own website. Too often, designers and developers harness everything to make themselves indispensable where if you need a simple change or want to add a new page, you have NO CHOICE but to contact your original developer. It’s much more exciting to give clients the ability to keep their website growing at their own pace and not have to rely on a 3rd person whenever they need to update their website.
